If that's the case, maybe it's easier to just say melee classes as opposed to caster classes. But tanks don't even have access to Hawks Eye, do they?

Here's hoping to adding LNC or ARC cross-abilities to tanks for 3.0! I can see Keen Flurry(LNC) be a decent addition as well as Hawks Eye(ARC)
You're gonna make a sequel to this thread with a comment like this.Considering bards have lower damage compared to other dps classes, and rely heavily on crits to deal burst. Also my bards dex is about 500, with hawk eye i gets about 585 dex, which then translates to 585 attack power. its not that OP, yes with 1k dex you would get about 150 dex. But really at the higher levels the small boost is only every going to be 15% extra dmg.
Unless you didn't intend to make it sound like 15% extra damage is insignificant, that's just what it looks like to me.
(Edit: overall HE is more like 10~12% damage boost but it doesn't change the point)
15% extra damage is really significant. Any extra damage is significant.
That is literally how cooldowns work, small bursts of damage that add up and give us the numbers we see.
Untraited B4B is like 10%, Raging Strikes is 20% or something.
That 85 dex you're getting from HE is huge. Considering that going from full i110 to full i130 nets you about 83 DEX alone, not counting WD or substats?

The numbers are much less than what you're all saying. @ 600 DEX/STR,
600*1.15 = 690.
90 STR/DEX increase.
@ 100 Potency, it's around a 27 damage increase. (220 - 247.9).
So like a 12.68% increase in damage @ 100 potency.
That doesn't mean it's a 10.89% DPS increase, by the way.
@ 600 STR/DEX
600*(1+0.15*20/90) = 620 average DEX "per second", or a 3.333% increase in average DEX.
@100 Potency, 600 STR/DEX = 220 damage
@100 Potency 620 STR/DEX = 226.2 damage
Or a 2.18% overall Damage increase.

Wow FranSeara, please admit already that you are trolling. Because if you are not... wow, just wow. Not gonna lie though it was a fun thread to read. Faelandaea I am happy that you received the info you need to become a better bard. I agree with the majority of the peeps saying that macros slow you down. I keybind all of my hotbars and it helps me to hit all the buttons. It takes some getting use to but after a while it becomes muscle memory. If you are on ps3/ps4, get use to switching pages on your cross hotbar since there is not enough room on 1 page to fit your abilities. It is a bit more work but your dps will increase immensely.

Mendalas - thank you so much for the positive response XD I use all 8 hotbars and access my skills on them with my left thumb. I use a Razor Anansi keyboard and have 7 macro keys right below my space bar. I use my thumb to select what bar I want to access and then hit the number of what I needIt has helped a lot!
