No offense, but t9 is a mechanics fight. The dps check is basically non existant now. The weekly carboncoat system is actually pretty genius; no rng (beyond getting people who can beat WoD) involved, and it helps new players beat the old content involved, and Syrcus Tower didn't have sands at first either. Considering they've said they are going to implement carbontwines in that series of content it'll probably be a similar weekly quest introduced later on.

Keeper of the Lake has pretty sneaky mechanics. Sneaky but not too devastating when the answer requires a bit of active thought mid-baytle.

Very old school FFish sounding, I'm totally in love.
You know I met Soken IRL, and he's just the coolest guy. I hope he gets some sleep and make more epic music.

The mechanics in the new dungeons and even WoD are about as fair as I could hope for once I got a look at them. Any fight worth it's value should always have mechanics that allow players the chance to react, adjust, and recover without having to rely on things like TS.

Manxome Molaa Ja Ja (Gulool's distant relative?) has some pretty crazy cards up his sleeve as well, though he has pretty loose lips when it comes to telling us about them.

I'm not sure I agree with WoD song, the final battle maybe, but not the other one. It seemed a bit bland. However on the flip side. I think he pulled a truly genius one out of no where with WP HM. The song completely matches the mood of the dungeon. I'm not sure what the proper wording is to explain it. But I mean your going in there to rescue tonberries, and the song just makes you feel like your struggling to do just that. It was amazing really. I think he's really starting to get really good at this. PS was crazy good, esp when he made the extended version. I can't wait to hear what he does in 3.0.
