Hello all, JUDGE ADELINE HERE (cough I wish) here to throw out some critiques of everyone’s shots~ All of them were great, but I’d like to practice some critiques~ if that’s ok C: I’ll try as I might not to sound too harsh, so please if you can don’t take anything I say tooooo personally~ you’re all great!

I will say that one thing about this round’s theme was the subject ‘Starry Sky-background’ which is a bit different than ENTM’s theme last week, which was ‘Star Gazing’. I think some of you might have been a little confused on what you should have been doing? I’m not too sure but yeah Dx I’ll go more in depth below

Hilda: Damn gurrl, you really do have a rockin bod, but nooo I can’t see your face Dx Then again it could have been the confusion of perhaps what you were supposed to do for the round. It really is a lovely shot, and I do believe you were trying to give off the image of star gazing, I’m just not sure if that’s what the judges wanted you to do. Also that tree is kinda covering up the sky  and we can’t see a whole lot of stars to accent you. I do love your lighting and how the moonlight is highlighting you!

Fruity mfking Tooty: It’s an adorable shot, and honestly something I think conveys your personality and uniqueness that you bring to ENTM. But with that there is just so much negative space going on Dx TBH I’m first drawn to the sky and not to you, which is kinda bad if you’re trying to showcase and have a shot focus on you. The sky though is absolutely gorgeous, so I give you props for timing your screenie to get s a gorgeous view of the night sky, and one the best backgrounds of this round. I also really like how there isn’t a slew of light on you (aka over use of the sun minion) :3

Koriander: It’s a very tranquil shot, and a nice way of showing stars in the background + looking like you’re stargazing. With that though I think you could work a bit more on angle ling your shot a bit, such as coming in a bit closer or tilting the camera up or down so we can see a bit more of you and the background you’re trying to portray. I’m also a little concerned that you used the same exact pose you did last week for your underwater theme. Bear in mind people will get a little bored if they keep seeing you do the same thing every week.

Midge: This is actually one of my fav shots this week! I love how close we are to you, you’re not DEAD center( aka your’re a bit tilted ), background is beautiful, cute expression, and you’re not too bright! The only thing I can really be a little harsh about is the outfit. Not sure if a bridesmaid outfit suit an Oasis shot, but then again coming up with an outfit can be a bit tricky. The mandy chocker is cute though, and original and a rare item so I don’t blame you for trying to show it off! Also DAT MOON GLOW HNGGG

Raquelle: Ahh I love this shot too :3 you’re executing the rule of thirds very well here, and I love that you’re off to the side of the pic. Gorgeous stars and I love that fact you went and used the forgotten city as your background! It really helps to illuminate your shot. The kiminu set is also awesome and sexy, and I totally dig you in it! My only quip about this shot is your expression. While it works, I wish you were doing making doing some sort of expression, whether it be giving the camera a taunting grin, or simply doing something in /say to make your lips move. I regardless tho lovely shot!

Sam: Ah, you used lost city too! Great thinking  It truly is a lovely place. Great use of capturing the stars there, plus getting a nice view of the dark tower in the center. The outfit is pretty cute, though if it were cold out you might be a bit uncomfortable Dx I say this because you have some rosey cheeks :3 not sure if you’re trying to portray it being a little cold out, or if it’s just blush. Your pose is a little plain, but still a cute pose that I love when midlanders use it! You’re a bit centered, and if you had placed yourself a little to the left or right could of added a bit more to the shot. Also I’m not sure what you’re looking at :3 not at the camera, so are you looking at the sky in the distance or to someone nearby? Make sure to make a focus I guess! I got yelled at about this in my last shot so just spreading the word! Still, I love this shot and defiantly one of my fav this round !

Sylvie: You’re such a pretty elezen, YET I CAN’T SEE YOUR FACE Dx I think this is the same thing that happened to Hilda~ not sure how to portray the theme so you have your back turned to make it look as though you’re gazing. You’re also very dim, and you almost blend too much with your background. I believe either waiting for a bit starryer sky would of helped out, or a minor use of a sun minion to help bring you back to the shot. One thing I’ve learned about night skies is that once the stars are at their brightest and moon at the fullest, they REALLY help bring your character out and shine. You almost don’t even need a sun minion in that situation! Anyway this is still a great shot, and would make for a fabulous wallpaper

Xyrh: Both this week and last week, you’ve really shown your expressions Love it! You have a beautiful background, and I believe you’re our only beach starry background this week, so props for that! My real concern here is your choice of outfit…if you’re on the beach why are you wearing the Coil mnk barb? It’s a bit out of place in my eyes I guess. Still I love that you’re off centered, you’re so photogenic too <3
Ty all for reading and putting up with my critiques! I know for sure that you guys had a bit of a harder time due to all your shots being due at once, and not having the ability to really improve each week as other models have :3 Gl to each of you!
