For a quest, for NPC everything had meaning in the game even the item that pretty much think wtf is this for then you find out for a quest to get a ninja spell or something else lol.

Issue is Yoshi-p is a western type player giving a final fantasy feel to ffxiv going to be hard i don't think he cut out for it. tanaka at least had the read idea just needed more time and i'm sure he would listen to the player base he is now with ffxi so i dont' see why not.
Yup totally agreed, btw you ever tried to follow the battle log during battle? xD
It's insane to me, there so much skill spamming even in a 5 people party and so many numbers flying on the mobs head, i can't compare my dmg with others, can't see who casted what and where, only after a battle you can try to scroll up and review it if u have the patience, i applied filters just so my actions show but then i feel like i miss alot of necessary information. Like OP said it's too fast paced.

Not to mention you get alot of useless items just so much garbadge to ocupy inventory space and +2 and +3 stuff and consideing you have to carry around 40 pieces of gear around to have various classes ready on the spot, it's real mess lol
And finaly the awsome quests that are as exciting as staring at the ceiling....

Anyway let's have faith in Yoshi, complain alot to show discontent and play while it's free ^_^
