Did they nerf drops from desynthing artisan tools?

Or am I just cursed by the RNG gods? I swear I've bought about a dozen artisan needles so far, and aside from a handful of crystals and rose gold ingots/nuggets, I've only got two fieldcraft demi 3's and no mastercraft demis.

Is anyone else getting such abysmal drops for them?

My friend that used to desynth a whole bunch of artisan stuff (before the nerf - was 10 for glasses 50 for mainhands) said it is about 15% to get a mastercraft demi.

So it is possible to not get any in a dozen of them.

Sorta like me burning 46 materia for a 11% meld - dat RNGeezus

The problem with "random" statistics is they can be skewed by one guy's horrid luck and another guy's awesome luck...
You'd think they'd balance out, but there's a reason the concept of outliers and standard deviations is so annoying and important in statistics.
