Question: "Wait" option on duty finder

I thought this was implemented with the most recent patch as I saw it on my dutyfinder queue this morning. I was about 5 kills from finishing a fate on an alt job so I clicked "wait". However it withdrew me from the queue.

I was under the impression that "wait" would simply move me back into the queue so I could join the next available group, but not remove me from queue. Please correct me if I'm wrong; otherwise I either 1) misclicked or 2) it's not working as intended.

    No bad feelings, just confused!

Wait just closes the popup window. I hate to say it, but it feels like kind of a useless addition. >_>"

Nah its neither a 'commence' nor 'withdraw' option, just makes the pop up go to the side, then you can decide later

Moving you back to the queue would prob be too much coding effort

They will never add an option that moves you back to the queue as people will abuse it like mad.

The 'wait' button just dismisses the popup in exactly the same way you can have a teleport request or party invite do the same thing. It's an incredibly useful feature as previously you were unable to do anything else once that popup appeared, which included gathering or interacting with your retainers.

As others have said, it only puts the window to the side to give you a few seconds to finish something up and then join or withdraw.

While it may feel useless it does serve a purpose. It has happened to me a few times where I walk up to an NPC or Market Board and as my thumb moves to tap the confirm button the DF window pops and I hit Commence unintentionally. By putting the default position to Wait they fix this.

Same for the confirmation window when you withdraw. Several times I have been quickly throwing items up for sale and the DF window pops up as I'm moving the cursor over and hitting confirm and it Withdraws me on accident. These are both welcome changes for me.

hitting circle on the controller before 2.5 did the exact same thing hitting 'wait' does now.
