Does world of Darkness drop encrypted tomestone?

I heard that it does and that it doesn't. I beat it twice and didnt see one, but it could be maybe low drop rate? Can anyone confirm if it does or doesnt? Thanks

Iv only done it twice, but I think only upgrade matts come from a quest that is linked to WoD.

This is probably part of method they meant by "They will not be drops, to waste a weekly lot on."
I thinkkkkk you can only get accessories+1 materials(carbon coat) from WoD quest, and armour+1 materials (carbontwine) from hunts, and fcob is for wpns.

My guess is that all of the upgrade items will be added to WoD in a later patch. Probably around the same time when the loot lockout if removed from the raid. Likely when patch 2.55 goes live.

I'm sure they will probably, eventually just like before. But also just like before it's a roll out thing. They didn't add all the tomestones and oils/sands right away to the old CT.

I'd rather they do the previously mentioned quest or some other farm method thing though, fighting 8 people for the same thing for 10 runs every week until I get it is boring, while watching everything else in there hit the floor lol.

This is true, however in the current ST format you at least have multiple opportunities to get them. People don't really need many UATs so the chances a player gets one is pretty good. It is the sand and oil that people are really after. Now are the current ones available in some form outside of final coil? Yes. But I question the process to get them. The carboncaot can be gotten if a player does the entirely if the crystal tower raids once per week. Why? Why must a player do content that is over a year old in order to get an item to upgrade the current "end game" level of gear?

That being said, I do agree that these items will likely be put into the raid some time down the road. Prior to the expansion makes sense as a way to allow players to get geared up prior to it.

It wouldn't make sense to give players the ability to get an i130 weapon outside of coil (ST tomestone + hunt carbontwine) when relics are stuck at 125 (and require vastly more effort).

coil already has weapons though, dreadwyrm. Does everything good need to be in coil? It would be nice to have poetic wpns to try and get the coil wpns, instead of using shiva's

Sorry, that's not exactly what I meant. I don't mind having an option for good weapons outside of coil.

I just meant it seems wrong to have the ST + hunt version of weapons be better than the zodiac weapon because the zodiac weapon requires so much more work.

It would have made sense if they released the tomestone item in CT3, but didn't release the carbontwine item in hunts (only carbon coat). Then the max level of your weapon outside of coil would have been i125 for zodiac or i120 for a poetics weapon. But that didn't happen.
