ummm i think he meant just making good weapons from the start... not adding new layers

i think if everyone would look at FF HISTORY (OMG CAPS FOR SRS BIZNAS) there isn't too many glowing weapons without an effect from the user. there are intricate weapon designs, there are fabled weapons but none of them really seem to glow unless being activated or some other cause from the user and then they don't usually sit there and glow for all eternity. i think, IF ANYTHING, the weapons should glow or 'activate' (seperate into multiple blades, burst into flame, produce a splash of water [epic], etc etc etc) only during abilities that crit or some other means of measuring if the player is doing well (exp chain 3+ or something)or in 'srs biznas' mode so to speak
