Imo DoW has an easier time for drops due to them only fighting for drops against other tanks and melee dps.
But usually u get a few blms and since both healers r casters it's almost free loot.
Especially if you run in a premade where its the 1 tank method.
Casters get the end of the stick here also it kinda proves my point as se decides to just recolour the caster robe. Why? We'll never know.
I think this fight is a good way to train on your MP management. I originally queued as SCH since it's my main healing job, but I usually ended up with a not so good healer. Eventually I was getting another SCH. Which wasn't good since SCH aoe is sad. After a few wipes I queued as WHM. While the fight is healing intensive, I never had an issue with my MP. If the dps know what they gotta do then you won't heal as much. Just gotta heal through bleed. A nice divine seal+ medical II will pretty much nullify bleed. But I did always manage to fall below 1k MP around the time Odin starts casting shin zen. But at that point healing is done and you should just throw those few stone II. As for SCH, rouse+fey illumination whispering dawn is pretty good. Just throw one succor in and focus on tank. Adloquium should be casted just for sangetall. Everything else is just physick.
I...don't see anything silly about it....
Seeing a caster running around in heavy armor would be stupid.
I mean, granted, some of the glamour people wear are equally as stupid, but classes should at least have some unique stuff to them. Personally I'd love more glamour restrictions, I'm tired of white mage and scholar looking the same.
If you restrict mage glamour any further, we really might end up in uniforms.I...don't see anything silly about it....

Heavy armor models like the HA tank coat and Demon armor would make excellent "battlemage" gear.
I used to think that all Job-restricted glamours were justified, but they increasingly aren't. Restrict AF and perhaps Tome gear, but free up the rest IMO.
"More glamour restrictions" will prevent "x and y looking the same"? Ha. Funny you should mention you're tired of healers looking the same, because casters have the MOST restrictions to their glamour options. More restrictions -> less options -> they look the same.
Not every piece of heavy armor is plates of metal making you look like a walking wall, either. Find me one good logical reason casters can wear thighboots from DoL / DoH, but not Moccasins or Caligae. Or why something like the i70 Gryphonskin Tunic is ARC / BRD only for glamour despite other tunics and heavier looking leather gear being widely available. And compared to i100+ gear's potential weight, is a Cotton or Hemp Tabard really that impossible to see on a caster?
You'll always have idiots who do stupid stuff like tank naked. Big whoop. You also get some damn amazing combinations from people who are allowed to take attractive pieces from gear sets below them while still looking like they're playing the part they signed up for.

Once I get the DoW chest, I'll be queuing as healer for the boots and gloves.
I did make the mistake of not realizing there was a DoM chest, but it's a recolour of something else which was super lame anyway.
That's because we have so little choice in glamours. And because some pieces are shared, we are pretty much forced to choose similar/identical glamours if we have both whm and sch or one of them would look off. There is so much DoW gear that would look good on casters.
