    More Ideas for Devs - Dungeon idea

    Hello once again everyone!

    I have another idea that could help dungeons and wait times.

    Basically dungeons are normally done with 4 people.. we know that
    but what if we could make it so each dungeon can take up to 5-8 players and according the the number of players... increase mob difficulty.

    again I used the example of Diablo 2.
    the more people in the world.. the harder the mobs get.

    it will still be one tank & healer per dungeon run, but it can take more DPS.

    what do you guys think?

    At first glance like all other 'increase group size' threads a nice idea for the dps.
    But you will have a hard time to balance the mobs (especially the bosses) so that the overall difficulty stays the same.
    You can only rise the attack power of an boss to a certain amount or it will oneshot the tank.
    And simply rising it's hp will only make the fight take longer.

    Also I see the healer constantly out of mana becuse more people will fail to dodge.

    So I would say: For short queue times do CT or queue as a tank/healer and leave dungeons the way they are

    I understand were your coming from.

    that sort of problem may arise if the mobs are too strong.
    but if they where adjusted just slightly so its just enough to be difficult yet fun.

    example.. if 8 players are doing the dungeon and 6/7 out of 8 are good then they could still beat it.

    anyways its just an idea.
