I'm in flames and there was a quest-like marker above the npc's head at HQ when I unlocked Slaughter, the same marker above other new noteworthy npcs like the vender in Mor Dhona.

A true paladin... will sheathe his sword.
Imo it was an oversight.
Se ony made the quest visable to new pvp ppl as they are notified via it being at their gc while ppl who already unlocked FL are required to speak with the npc at the airship landing of their respected gc state.
I was like wtf too but i just assumed se forgot to add that in.
Which is exactly my problem with it. Someone made sure eastern furniture got an indicator, but they forgot about PvP. Twice. That is how important PvP seems to be for the development team. I have no way of checking but did they ever even address the i80 Wolves' Den one? I'm doubting it...
Like I said, it isn't a massive issue in the slightest, but all these things keep adding up and it really isn't painting a favorable picture for PvP in this game. This isn't the straw that broke the camels back, but only because the camels back broke some time after I started burying it under 90ks every other match...
This was (or should have been) a known issue after the i80 Wolves' Den one. I really should just take a break from PvP in this game, just thought I'd point this issue out. Again. Perhaps they'll just ignore it. Again.

I bumped into that npc they were near the allied seals vendorWeird, I'm Twin Adder too.
Patch notes mention a Yellow Serpent Flyer at Adders' Nest but I must have been there a dozen times since the update hit and not seen anything... Based on the ADS mount Achievement though, perhaps it is an issue with switching Grand Company? I was originally in Maelstrom. Either way it's sloppy...
It really is bad design.
There actually isnt even a point to having to talk to the NPC.
It really should be just in the duty finder automatically
Uh, I've been doing Frontlines since it was first released... and I only had to talk to the NPC at my Grand Company to unlock (Slaughter), didn't have to go anywhere near the airship landing. The NPC even had the special quest icon.Imo it was an oversight.

I didn't see an icon over the NPC at Maelstroms HQ. I almost missed the NPC even (I thought it was going to be an actual FLYER on the wall)
If I hadn't checked the patch notes, I wouldn't have even known to do this though.
Why do we need to talk to NPCs to unlock this kind of content? Why isn't it unlocked off the bat?
It's such a tedious requirement that no other MMO seems to inflict on their playerbase.
had no icon for me whatsoever i ran around for n hour looking for the quest to unlock slaughter got annoyed went n read patch notes again incase i missed somethin after a whiles im like meh ill just talk to every npc in the area n what do you know it worked lol
spent 20 minutes running around because i could not figure out where the flyer was. no indication no quest marker nothing.
