Damn... Yoshi-P wasn't kidding that FFXIV ARR was going to take a turn to the darker side with the coming expansion. Of course Midgardsormr is great, even though he's a smarta**.

Ya they're removing that Black and White story 2.X era left us and is now going into a more Grey Zone Storyline.

The 2.3 cutscene is what is kindly referred to as a "subtle hint applied with a sledgehammer".

I'm still surprised that people who have past 2.3 have not figured out that Ishgard may be evil in 3.0 due to the revealing that Lahabrea and Elidibus are controlling Ishgard. Not to mention the constant hints in 2.4 that Iceheart left about Dragons being the real good guys all along.

The story needed more deaths or a death actually matters. And let's believe a dragon that tried to kill us and then seal our powers for the hell of it. He call us errand boy or girl to poke fun at but we STILL an errand person now to him.-_-

Why do our character have to be such a peon? I greatly want to get into the story but being a peon is very off-putting...

He took the blessing away, the fact that we then proceeded to fight and kill Nabriales tells you we're still pretty much the strongest warrior(s) out there.
