I've tried some other games and they worked

for me the game window pop then crash right away

I just got the same issue.
I started the launcher and then I get an "FFXIV Boot Error" which reads as follows:

Unable to complete version check.
[30605][10009][19900][12029]

I tried:
1) rebooting my system - did not help
2) uninstalled and then reinstalled FFXIV from disk - same error

Any help would be much appreciated.

EDIT: I may have posted this in the wrong thread, as I read a possible fix in another post in the Technical Support forum.

If your game is unable to load the launcher and you are getting an error message similar to the one I mentioned: Disable your Firewall and Anti-Virus program.

I did that and now the launcher is downloading the patch. Now to find out if it'll crash upon start... *crosses fingers*

I'm currently playing on PS4 but I want to play on my PC !

can anyone help me please, I installed latest windows update and checked everything but the game won't stop crashing after launch.

altho I had Directx files problem before and fixed them and now all games works except Final Fantasy

Have you tried to disable the virus scanner/firewall? Sometimes they can cause trouble
