Looking for a new server to call home

I'm considering gilgamesh and a handful of others as I am getting ready to leave ultros. Just wondering what gilgamesh has to offer. Anyone who could give me some insight it would be much appreciated!

What sort of playing do you enjoy / are looking for? Hard core? Casual? Hunt-a-holic? RP?

I'm more well rounded. I like to craft, I like to raid,I like to hunt, dungeons, leveling etc etc. I don't mind helping people get things done. So really I'm do whatever amuses me lol.

Gilgamesh is a Mixed bag, originally unofficially designated both the Reddit Server and the RP Server, maybe the BG Server at one point as well.

There's something for a bit of everyone, depending on your playstyle, but it has a rather large PUG community for end game, a very active partyfinder, and been my home since launch.

I'd say if your looking for End-Game there's few better places.. outside of that, it's probably like every other server out there.... which means it's only as good as the company you keep.

Should you be looking for a progression focused Free Company when you get here, that focuses on doing weekly events and promoting individual progression, there are few better places than the Hellborn Manta.

If you are looking for an FC still, I'll throw in AKS's name.

We're one of the most active FCs on the server, currently sitting in 2nd place overall, and we were in the top 10 for 51/52 weeks last year. We do... all the things. We have a few groups working on Final Coil; we have people running dungeons, clearing Second Coil, helping with Extremes, unlocking their crafty things: you name it, someone in the FC is probably trying it and willing to help someone else try it. We have an ongoing thread on the Gilgamesh forums, but the best place to really get to know us is the Aureus Knights website.

Whatever FC you choose, I hope the server turns out to be fun for you.
