Also, just to note, regardless of these Limit breaks; ranged are going to dominate any battleground where 72 people are fighting in close quarters. Ranged > melee. Common sense folks.
Amazing how one person who isn't even good at pvp whines about dieing as a melee in a 72 man battleground; gets their way and makes caster get a nerf. God forbid caster is viable in any pvp situation.

Exactly, lol. Hell, to be honest, if I played a BLM, I wouldn't be asking for a fix for this either. I'd rack up as many wins as I could before the hotfix. That's just how people are though.
If it's not affecting them in a negative manner, they don't see an issue with it. It's no different than picking a top tier character in a fighting game despite knowing there is a balance coming in a revision in the future. How many people are honestly going to go back to playing a mid tier or low tier character if they just found out the character they're currently playing can get them easy wins with minimal effort?
I look forward to the fix so we can attempt to have a somewhat balanced experience rather than how it is now where Slaughter is basically BLM vs BLM and seeing who can sleep + nuke the other team first to win.

Wasn't that comment meant for melee considering how OP they are in PvP? Melee does have an imbalanced LB. I'm required to wear tank accessories to live through one melee player using a LB on me. So I'm gimping my entire team's healing because one Ninja might get close enough to pop a LB on me. But let's just forget about that and cry about how tough melee has it some more.
2 melee LBing two targets at the same time can kill 2 people, 2 mages LBing at the same time can kill parties from a safe distance. There's a lot more risk to a melee class, currently in slaughter there's a high risk low reward for melee while for casters it's a low risk high reward. Also cast a stoneskin on you and have someone close that can stun, like a PLD and you'll be safe, as a melee I never cast LB on a full HP target as most of the time it is not enough, also as a healer if you're not killed in one shot you'll just heal yourself with benediction and the melee will be slaughtered, learn how to utilize your class and you'll see a difference.

So to sum it up, a melee LB is not OP because it requires:
1. the best heal in the game with a 5 minute cooldown
2. a bodyguard that does practically nothing but wait by me to stun ninja's coming out of stealth
3. at least 4 slots of vitality gear that is completely useless to me except for one stat.
Also, it takes one buffed Medica II to heal through a caster's LB. (FYI, Medica II does not have a 5 minute cooldown). I've seen people killed by server lag the last few days. But it's certainly not because the LB is that strong.

dont bother wasting your time on giving him advice. its like he stepped into one game of Slaughter, got absolutely wrecked, and never set foot in it again. if you have to point out things like fucking Stoneskin when he is a healer, then I dont even know anymore.
