Does this also mean it will be possible to dodge Cometeor? As it stands, you are hit regardless of what you do that's why. Note that my connection is fine, as all other AoE indicators respond perfectly and I have zero lag even during hectic battles. I'm assuming it's because of the very short cast time, and not because the area indicator is there just for show.

Yep, same thing happens to me. I can never dodge it. At first I thought it was me. But quite a few times I watched the casters casting bar. I move out the way when its 25% complete and I still get hit. lol
