+1 to this. Was suggested a lot when hunts first came out as well.
It's a "friendly" competition with rules agreed upon by all 3 Grand Companies. Some allied seals as a show of 'We're all still friends really' would be nice.

Why not Frontier Seals? With a Frontier shop?
Or put some A ranks into Frontier ^^
Hearing a lot of good comments in this post I just want PvP to be a viable thing too. And hunting is a boring overpopulated troll fest there needs to be another way to get allied seals
Yes that is exactly what it is. And the worst thing is you can't do it while solo queued or queued with one person for something else unless you're willing to do it for a fraction of the awards since they go to the teams spamming flash and medica to stay on the top end of the enmity range. True story, I have gotten more Allied Seals at an S Rank solo by showing up at the tail end as a Lvl 50 Arcanist with Flash cross-classed, hitting it with bio and spamming flash over and over while topaz carbuncle used his enmity building attacks, than when I was on SMN at an as S Rank when it popped, couldn't get into a party before the fight started, and used all my DPS skills to maximum effect.
Screw hunts. So frustrating to be the one to find an S Rank and try and get a party going while people who show up after you and have one start shouting it out like you weren't there sending one 15 seconds previously and trying to get a party filled.
Decided to try the new pvp today, hoping queue time would be better with the new duty roulette, they are the same as when I stopped playing pvp 2 months ago (it wasn't really fun anymore waiting for 90 min for one game)
I think if they added allied seals to it it would be more populated, and I wouldn't have to deal with hunts as I am finding them really boring.
I don't care if a lot of bad players join I just wanna dot everyone up and fester them until they run when they see me but with the long queuetime they will have forgotten about me before next game starts...
+1 for allied seals in frontlines

they should remove hunt system all 2gther and add the seals to frontlines lol
I agree there should be more methods collect allied seals. FL and ex primals would be good idea.
This might only be personal, but to me PVP is very much worth doing.
A nice reward is unique armour that everyone and his mother doesnt have, as it takes some form of dedication for an extended period. (Much like latest stages of coil)
Win or lose you make progress on 110 gear, and there is no ninjas to take a drop that appears 1/200 times.
I have never cleared t8, but have all jobs at 110, thanks to PVP. (OK I know 110 is oldskool now, but still)
The new perks you unlock somewhat break up the manotnous nature of the grind.
You get to kill real people, not repetitive predictive bots that do same crap at same %hp.(that to me is laborious as some ppl make pvp out to be).
I do strongly agree that the queues are far too long, but there are considerable efforts to change that, such as lower man modes, and now the roulette.
TLDR; pvp makes you a unique little snow flake if you stick with it long enough![]()

Im with you 100% Pvp is a blast to do the only problem is the Que timers. All I'm suggesting is and alternate way to get allied seals. Hunting is a joke and we all know it. Maybe add allied seals as a daily reward for duty roulette whatever helps the question for pvp and to all the people who dislike pvp you have your hunts and your daily you can do or hey maybe add in another way to get seals for Pve players.
