    Character Creation

    What time does the Leviathan server open up for character creation? Every time I've tried throughout the day and night it's never available. My guild is on the Leviathan server and I don't fancy the idea of creating one on another server and paying for a transfer...

    Problem is, I've often logged on when it says the Leviathan server is open for creation, yet when I actually go to create it it won't let me.

    If you have the time though you can also just try to continually refresh the servers until Leviathan opens up as an option.
    The refresh option is usually faster than waiting for the site to update.

    I did this when I was making another character on the Balmung server which is notorious for not "being open" for character creation.
    It took me 3 hours of waiting and refreshing on the character creation screen, but my patience paid off. Oh, and I believe the server refresh button becomes available every 3 minutes.

    Yeah, the website listing is only updated a few times a day, whereas the actual status of the game servers themselves is continuously updating as players log in and log out. So the website info can quickly become outdated.

    If the website and game servers don't match, that means it's changed since the last time the website was updated, so may be near enough the threshold that makes it switch back and forth between available and unavailable. If you have the patience for it, that may be a good time to try the repeatedly refreshing/re-trying pattern Zanair suggested.
