How is new alexandrite drop rate?

Said it was increased from fates, anyone tried to grind some out yet?

not that it's indicative of anything, but I got an alexandrite on the first FATE I completed today. I only did 2 so far whil moving between areas though. That said it's the very first time I've seen one drop from a FATE.

I did around 20 and didn't see a drop. However, even with atma's huge increase in drops as of Patch 2.4, sometimes I've gone hours without a single one. Spending 30mins isn't long enough to get a feel for it.

I got one after my first 3 FATEs, then another after about 15 more. I did another 10 or so after that but didn't get a third drop. No idea what the actual rate is.

i got my novus while never ever dropping n alex from a fate lol n trust me while spiriting binding in north thanalan i done tons XD so hope they did increase it lol

I did 1.2k Fates before the patch and i'v only seen 16 of them (wanted to attend a wedding with a paragon gown) and if i recall correctly i did some fates today for about an hour and got about 4 or 8 alex where before the patch i'd go straight non stop for 4 hours (me and my brother) and I wouldnt see them.

Though tonight I'll be doing them again just to test it out because I want to see if its worth it just to fate or not.

I've yet to ever see a single alex from a FATE, and it's not like I haven't been doing them. I usually stop to clear any easily-cleared FATE in my path.

Gotten maybe about... 10 FATEs or so, since 2.5 hit. Still haven't seen one.

While I haven't seen any drop from fates in 2.5 yet. A friend of mine got 4 of them before the servers went down.
