I find it hilarious that on the pf, people have been selling odin runs for at least 2 mil lol. It's a very easy fight.

Lol seriously?! I've been seeing farm group rather than selling groups in Balmung. Its a super fun fight, and easily farmable with solo tank. I think once people understand the dps checks of the einherjar phase and dodge properly this craze will die.
dunno dude. People might need help. Because there's lots of wacky hijinks in DF. Like...Tank Swapping! And stacking! Because when you think of the Slow debuff move you think of stacking so the healers get hit.
...*shiver*
I still love the fight though. I went all fan mode during his intro cutscene. xD

You may notice it less than bad healers or bad tanks but the DF is just as swarmed with horrible dps mains who do nothing right at their job. Especially on trials with a lower ilvl requirement, not blaming them though as they probably dont even notice that themselves. (personal dps numbers please, SE?)
Point being, was in 3 random DF groups. The timing in which each of the groups hit enrage was anywhere between 10 - 40% even on runs where people seemed to dodge everything perfectly and noone died- 8%.
Assumption? One [or more] of our dps probably pulled bellow average dps numbers and thus ruined the entire group.
this is coming from someone who disregarded strafing and actually hitting the enemy with AA's as MNK until someone was kind enough to break it to me as my numbers used to be trash, figured my mistake out and quickly got a lot better. Kinda off-topic but very relevant to that tight(?) dps check.
Odin is simple enough.
The only issue players will have once they master the mechanics is to meet DPS demand since players are on a Timer.
If players can get Odin's HP down to 15% or lower then a LB2 or LB3 can reduce his HP by half or more. The remaining time should be enough to burn down around 10% of his HP after the LB.

We pulled this off with a random DF group on the first try. Granted, we had mere seconds to spare (glad I stepped into Cleric Stance and went all out in that last phase!), but we did it.
Apart from the support some DPS classes bring. But you'd know about that. If you actually weren't carried every dungeon.I cleared Odin first try, with my friends, 1 tank methods. Average ilv 110 for the whole pt..
And actually, meeting DPS check requirements still fall heavily on DPS because they were built with the idea of having 4 DPS able to kill it, without the help for DPS from Tanks nor Healer. So yes, kill job is still DPS responsible. Having help from the Tank or the healers certainly make the job easier but if DPS have to rely on that extra bit DPS to make or break the fight, you fail at the job. The only job DPS has is...DPSing and if you can't even do that...Well you are bad !!!

Actually Cleric Stance exists so a Healer can effectively do solo content. Without it, certain fights would take too long to DPS down. As a healer, the mob must be dead fast because you lack the defensive capability of a tank (and you can not stand there for 10 minutes taking hits, and even if you can heal through it, MP becomes an issue), so to compensate SE gave them a skill to bump up their DPS to feasibly solo quests.
I'm not saying I disagree with the idea of a healer assisting with DPS if he/she has the MP or feels confident enough to. I'm merely pointing out the error in the majority community's understanding of the buff.

If anything, Odin has opened my eyes to how much I hate people who purposely go AFK or offline just to be kicked from duty without proper reprimanding. First I had a tank say, "wow no one knows how to do this fight. I'm just going to AFK." Then after we kicked him and got a replacement, we made two more attempts. On the start of the second attempt, the healer and their DD friend just mysteriously disconnected and never returned, leaving us for dead.
I'm not sure what these people expected. The fight has not even been available for 24 hours. If you don't want to put forth the effort to learn a fight and its mechanics, why bother doing it in the first place, let alone using Duty Finder? Tch, just chafes my hide.
