Haven't tried the fight yet (trying later tonight) - but for party composition, what kind of ilvl do you all think is actually needed for the burn phase? I know many have said i95 is too low, but is the thinking that people need to build a party with mostly i110 dps or so (not sure if I'd take my 108 bard or 115 ninja, depending). Thanks for any input before I put together my group!! I'm leaning towards ninja so I can put up the 10% TA dmg during burn phase.

Nah i'm healing it fine and was taught to throw out some dps here and there but we always reach the end but the dps just doesn't seem enough. I thought this was suppose to be content for casuals and is not included in the endgame coil tier right?
Healing it is fine but when dps start to get hit by things then you know ur either going to have to decide between healing them or prepping the tank for that tank busting move. Forgot the name lol. When casual content requires healers to dps then you know we atleast deserve to be adressed with a more suitable ilvl req.

the dps check isnt that tight, in the end everyone can go full DPS on it, cleared on 2. try with the cast bar being at 66%. there is no healing in the end part so i dont see the issue why us healers shouldnt dps ¬.¬ (I am a sch).

    Odin is simple enough.

The only issue players will have once they master the mechanics is to meet DPS demand since players are on a Timer.

If players can get Odin's HP down to 15% or lower then a LB2 or LB3 can reduce his HP by half or more. The remaining time should be enough to burn down around 10% of his HP after the LB.

Remembering the event version, the only time healers had to really dps was the zantetsuken race at the end (but noone got damaged at that time so np). At least if the party is half decent.

But then again, it seems to be a fight where you have to avoid any single avoidable damage to have a good chance to clear it

And expecting that in df where it is first released unlike how extreme versions are only pre made allowed and soon put in df on the next patch. I guess se is just ramping up the difficulty for casual content Xp

Hey look, people suddenly are realizing that DPS is everyones responsibility and not solely actual DPS.

Mmm maybe it's just me, but when I heal, I always look at that as "I need to DPS to speed this up" or "I need to DPS because we're not doing enough", rather than "I need to DPS because it's part of the mechanic/design".

That's why we have cleric stance. Healers are designed to be supplemental DPS when they do not need to heal or conserve MP. SCH especially. Dem DoTs.
