7 Day Big Fishing Challenge Live Stream

Hi all,

So I was challenged in game to see can I catch 106 Big Fish in the game to unlock the Ironworks Fishing before Patch 2.5, which gives me 7 days. I am currently streaming it now at twitch.tv/mithrie if you want to check in on my progress. At the time of writing this thread I am at 8/106. I am using a variety of links to help me including:

My personal guess is I'll do about 50 in 7 days, but who knows RNG is an unpredictable beast.

I wish you luck and may RNGesus be on your side . Took me almost 3 weeks of almost nothing but fishing to complete the fishing log.

took me 8 trips to get the damn cupfish alone.. did get it on line about 4 times before reeling it in.

I think if you hit 50 that will be pretty good anything beyond that will be luck based it would seem.

im still working on this challenge myself but not in 7 days but it would be nice.

I want to wish you the best of luck, aiming 50 of the big fish shouldn't be too hard in a week. Especially if you focus on the much much easier to catch 2.2 and most (not all, some are really frustrating) of the 2.3 fishes and avoid as many 2.4 fishes as possible. But aiming for more is just going to lead to a lot of frustration.

Best of luck to you. I have been working on getting the ironworks for the past 6 days and have gone from 11 to 81 fish, so as long as weather and rng is on your side you should be able to do it .
