The final boss is easier than the one prior to it in my opinion. Tank just moves around room spacing out the pools while DPs just picks off adds and ranged picks off idols. The previous fight however is chaotic and annoying due to the random characteristics of the pillars plus quantity of them as fight goes on.

Pillar effects are random but set when the fight starts.

So if you run into purple and get Determination up, it will be purple for the rest of that fight. However the next run it may be a different color instead. Haven't wiped in that fight yet but I assume if the boss resets the effect of the totems randomize again.

I agree Snugglybutt. The boss before him is way harder.
