Armoire logic? (Or lack thereof.)

Okay, I could have sworn I saw the last two seasonal event items listed as "can be placed in the armoire" in the preliminary notes, yet that isn't there in the full release. So, no storing the latest christmas and new year's gear in the armoire, still.

BUT - the Star-spangled Subligar, that can be obtained in a quest added in this very patch, can already be stored in there.

Am I the only one put off by this weird logic?

Throw everything away & buy the gear if you need it from the calamity salvager.

Based on this recently bumped thread, the subligar was an item from Legacy 1.0. If it was coded into the database earlier to be able to be stored in the Armoire, it would make sense you would be able to store it there already.

Yeah, I just want to say I'm also pretty disappointed we still can't add items from the Heavensturn and Starlight event into storage yet. How does simple yet obvious stuff like that not make it into the updates? Honestly, I find it strange that these types of items are not flagged for the armoire the very moment they're being added to the game. Why not set their properties up correctly from the start and save some development time down the road?

Cause Yoshi said he wanted players to use the items for longer than just the event duration. So... you can sorta see why it's never been a quick add for event items.

I'm about ready to just dump like half a bags worth of items long as I can rebuy them for 1 or so gil. It's pretty dumb honestly.

1.0 fisher quest reward. It is already very old

Making us wait for the next update to store seasonal stuff? I can live with it just like I did in FFXI.

But they should have been made storable with this update. I got seriously annoyed when I walked up to the armoire and realized I couldn't store them despite having read something about it in the preliminary patch notes.

I seriously hope that "storing" seasonal gear hasn't been turned into another gilsink.

Master Rogue's Ring cannot be stored. All other Master rings can. Just weird logic sometimes.
