I hope you guys realize that the new i70 does not replace the fully-melded i60 stuff. A quick stat comparison on the database makes this pretty obvious. Do not get rid of your fully melded Artisan's gear...

Dang I can't play because of ggs night shift
Someone told me before I logout the new turn ins for the i90 tools are 40 durability 3stars.
Is it true 40dura??
The problem are now the moonstones, you get one from the ixali delivery quest or from maps and it's untradable, so you can't buy/sell them. So it shouldn't be hard to get the new tools, but it will require a lot of time to acquire them all.

Yep, offhand...
40 Dur
222 progress
4980 (bit under 5k) quality
3 star difficulty
Looks like minimal starting quality. Each recipes seems to take 3-4 NQ GC items and some low level HQ-able items.
So maybe at most 500 starting quality out of 5000.
So perhaps these will overall be easier than the 4 star book items, but not easy by any means... Especially 20 of them.
The nice thing is... the REALLY nice thing, is that if you dont HQ it, you can give it BACK to Talan for the NQ GC components. So in effect as long as you complete the synth, if you do not HQ it, you just eat the 5 cluster cost... Not exactly small, but greatly, GREATLY reduces the reliance on Reclaim RNG for retrying.
Perhaps SE is realizing that the level of layered RNG is becoming too much, so they are toning it down a bit.
Still seems we are stuck with the ol HT-ToT-Fish-Reclaim methodology for making usable 4 stars though.

So 1rapid synth 2x cs2 should complete the synth.
Hmmm need to get 11iq stacks![]()
I'm thinking manipulation based rotation.

I thought you could buy them using GC seals?
Almost makes sense that they buffed only 1 set of Ixal dailies.
So we should do the Deliverance quest, 2 from <> the Steady, and 3 from <> the Second, for 1 moonstone and 8 oaknots to get 1 sealant per day.

Well turning in I90 gear is about 825 seals.
So get an FC group together, and ask them to let you get drops. 5 drops will get you 4k seals, which is 2-3 runs.
But yes, as all things with crafting, it will take quite a while.
Just finished one, now i have 482 craftmanship, and 423 control (no artisan apron yet, 15 on offhand)
Don't know yet if so much cm is useful to save steps on any recipes,
Cm can go up to 500+ depending on melds on apron and offhand.

Apparently with 541 craftsmanship, using food of course, you can get a 4 star down to 4 progress steps.
This is from the 2.5 Crafting Updates thread.
Honestly, it takes about 5 steps with some 460ish craftsmanship, which is reasonably obtainable with the Lucis tool. So adding in another 80 to get it down to 4 steps is a bit much. Those points could be better spend on CP and Control.
The real question is, how much control do you need to 100% a 4 star starting from available HQ mats, with either less than perfect HT rng, OR without a good/excellent for BB.
