What I dislike the most in MMOs, or any game, is mindless tasks that serve as nothing but busy work. I don't feel game mechanics should be an abstract obstacle that you must surmount in order to enjoy the story, or whatever. Instead, the mechanics should be entertaining in and of themselves, and have some kind of synergy with the story.
Parley is pretty much none of these. It's not difficult. The challenge is hoping the AI doesn't pick the correct move.
Please replace this with something that's actually entertaining. Like card games minigames (like from previous FFs), or anything that requires strategy, thought, etc.
It's bad enough 50% or more of all quests amount to "walk all over the map for no reason". Parley being terrible as well just feels like busy work upon busy work.
