I see from the patch notes that they are staying true to form by forcing some poor bastard to relinquish their weekly look in case they are just unluck. What I refer to is this in the patch notes:



So, if a piece of gear drops that NO one in the party wants, and we all pass on it, the game will still force it onto someone instead of just dissolving it into nothingness, and that player as a result has to now wait a week before they have any hopes of getting a piece of gear that they actually do want..

Um, no, if the timer expires and someone didn't bother to loot it, it loots to them. If you can't be bothered to click "Pass" in a 5 minute window, you deserve to get stuck with it.

I always click the button. It actually annoys me on all levels when people let the timer run out because someone probably could be getting gear they need and equipping it before the next fight, so i agree that if someone can't be bothered to click then they deserve to be shafted. But, in CT it did happen to me where I clicked "pass" and i ended up getting a PLD item when tanking is the one thing in an MMO I will never ever do. If they fixed that for WD, then awesome, but if not then it's going to suck LOL.

EDIT: on a plus note:

Changing classes or jobs in a sanctuary will no longer incur a penalty to action cooldowns.

YES!!!! I know a LOT of people in Rev Toll are going to LOVE this one!

Retainers can now be placed on estate grounds outside the hall.
