    Specialized Combat Targets for Disciples of Hand & Land

    First of all, I'm talking about NOT dungeons, NOT raids. I'm talking about out there in the world. Second, I'm talking about a significant combat benefit in special circumstances for these classes, but still insignificant compared with DOW and DOM classes or jobs.

    Here's the idea:
    You have a bundle of Classes with specialized materials they need on a regular basis. For the enemies that drop those materials, crafter/gatherers might get a bonus, such as their combat weapon having double attack power vs. that creature. Most of these classes already have very practical weapons, a few do not, and I would propose they have some optional "hunter-gatherer" class weapons in their stead.

    Viable Weapons: Sledge Hammer, Pick Axe, Hatchet, Scythe, Head Knife, Culinary Knife, Crowsbeak Hammer, Raising Hammer, Chaser Hammer, and Claw Hammer

    Less Viable/Not Viable: Clotho, Fishing Pole, Most of the Offhands
    Suggestions: A Fisher's Harpoon, A Garrot/Thread Attack for Weaver

    Also thought of a "thousand needle" style attack (or blow gun) for Weaver as a possibility, but many anime feature Thread users as ninja masters/witches/etc.

    For the Types of Targets that would actually receive the damage modifier (with all other targets yielding normal damage) I based it on what made some sense:

    Fisher - Sea Food
    Weaver - Fleece Drops, Mostly Sheep
    Botanist - Plant Drops, Treants
    Miner - Stone Drops, Golems
    Culinarian - Tenderloin & Egg Drops, Birds
    Leather Worker - Skin & Hide Drops, Mostly Goats & Boars

    Carpenter - Same as Botanist
    Goldsmith - Same as Miner

    Blacksmith & Armorer - Scrap Metal Drops, i.e. Dullahan & Mech Types

    I know this idea isn't likely to be implemented, but I wanted to put it out there

    Crafters/Gatherers also don't seem to get any benefit from FATEs or things like that for experience (I was very disappointed ) I'm not sure about making them HAVE to fight, but I don't like that they're encouraged not to be not getting these rewards....

    On that note... Having Gathering Monsters would actually be really interesting... They could be like B rank Hunts except for Gatherers and they would be an interesting new mechanic that could be like the Unspoiled Nodes except that they wouldn't be limited to a particular TIME and instead to being FOUND and you'd have to have a high level of Gathering rank in order to get the rewards off them, and it'd be even more cool if they had special abilities to deal with them released for DoL 50-60 <3

    Why would they develop any kind of battle content for crafter/gatherer? Is there any content they have developed/will develop that you'd rather see crafter/gatherer get legitimate attacks instead of that other content? Quite honestly, they have better things to do, sorry.

    I'd craft a lot more if I could go into a dungeon
    just like pull 3 pieces of iron ore and synth that shit

    Yeah... crafting leves I find annoying (gathering leves are awesome!) If there were crafting leves where you had to craft for mammets or other automatons it'd be more fun, like craft the target you find! I like the Ixali quests, but having mobile targets for crafting and gathering would add a new element
