Thanks for all the suggestions. I have updated the description of the video to include the suggestions about doing beast tribes, and also to take advantage of favored and free teleport. The whole repair thing is debate really because as I said in my case gear never broke before getting replaced, so was no need to spend even 1 gil on it, but that's just me. The general point is, is think about everything that costs gil and try to restrict so the end result is, you have saved more gil.
