I have been playing what about 4 months now, tbh it is extremely easy to make gil in this game.

Agreed. I've been playing for five months or so and only just started leveling crafting classes-- even after buying an FC room and a bunch of glamour gear, I'm still sitting on nearly 3 million gil just from quests, leves, selling stuff from retainer ventures, etc.

When you can, start doing the Beastyman Dailies. You'll get a couple thousand gil for a half hour of work. Might not seem like a whole lot, but doing them every day adds up. Also, I think crafting leves offer a ton of money if you had in HQ items and do the ones where you can hand in 3x the required amount, but that requires getting a crafter up to 50 asap.

2) Do not repair gear unless its at 0% condition.

Is that actually necessary? Doesn't the cost to repair gear at the NPC vary based on its condition? If you're replacing it sure, but letting gear drop to 0% seems extremely risky. I recall repairs at the 90% condition mark being particularly cheap compared to a full repair, so I'd suggest repairing gear then if you think the gear will last long enough to drop to 0%; Better to pay 10G to get an extra dungeon run out of it when it is at 90% than to pay 100G to repair it at 0% when you're only going to use it for one more dungeon.

They do, you get about double the amount of gil and EXP for turning in an HQ item.

They do. Although they didn't always do that. Early on in launch (last year) you'd pay the same to repair a piece at 99% and at 1%, but it was changed soon afterwards, probably by the first patch. So there's little reason to delay repair.

Please don't do this. When your gear breaks in a dungeon you are useless. Repair when it hits 50% at the latest.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I have updated the description of the video to include the suggestions about doing beast tribes, and also to take advantage of favored and free teleport. The whole repair thing is debate really because as I said in my case gear never broke before getting replaced, so was no need to spend even 1 gil on it, but that's just me. The general point is, is think about everything that costs gil and try to restrict so the end result is, you have saved more gil.
