How would the community feel about Rowena putting things on sale? (excluding the current highest gear available, in this case poetics) She can happen to find extra stuff in the back and want to get rid of it. Have it cycle in every so often, daily/every other day/on the weekends.

• Antique Sollerets: goes up for 200 soldiery
• Rowena's Token (Soldiery): 130 soldiery -> 90 soldiery

• Tidal Wave Patas: Can be upgraded with 500 soldiery rather than a mirror
• Primal Focus Weapon Blowout: Can purchase any of the weapons with one token or a little bit of soldiery
• Odin/Behemoth Blowout: require three mantles/horns instead of five

I think people would abuse it. (Like have a bunch of Roagadyn clog themselves around vendors to prevent you selecting the NPC, using program that auto-click right before a refresh).

That certain players will get a discount because they happend to be playing a certain day/time dosnt sound very fair.

Stores do this kind of stuff all the time. Some people need to work and can't stand in lines for days like a lunatic for a $25 TV. Could have Crazy Coupin Days. The Walmart of Mor Dhona.

In Japan there were people who lined up in Sapporo in the snow for a full day and night just to buy a $350 goody bag from Apple that *might* have something to justify the cost.

I could see it after Heavensward is released. All of it will be long obsolete by then.

I think as long as the sale lasts 24 hours (so the full day that it's for) then it'll be fair enough that most people won't end up left out regardless of time zones and real life schedules.

So I'd be up for one random sale two days a week (saturday/wednesday, for example), for a full 24 hours.

Why does everything have the be fair for everyone all the time? Missing out on slightly cheaper items isn't something that is going to ruin someone's experience. Its an interesting idea that would add a little more functionality to Rowena since right now there's really nothing for her to do since her workers are handling the exchanges. Rowena's Backroom Deals or something would bring more life back into her character.

Probably not but neither will it ruin someones experiance if they have to pay the same price as everyone else.

Your comparing real life with a fictional game, in real life they do it to attract customers since they usually end up buying other stuff whilst in the store.
