Dalamud Minion Code: Still Valid After 12/31/14?

So I have an extra Dalamud Minion code I haven't used yet because I was saving it for someone who eventually ended up not playing. The CD it belongs to is still in it's original wrapping. Since I have a second account without the minion; would the minion code still work? Or is it expired?

Why not just attempt to use it on the second account and find out then? If it is expired it will tell you.

Because I'd rather not open the CD packaging in case I can just sell it as brand new and unopened. Even then I still might want to give it to another friend. Still haven't made up my mind about it.

According to the voucher that had the code in my copy of Before Meteor, it appears the use by date for the code was the 31st of December 2014 sadly (it has this date written on the voucher), meaning any codes not redeemed after that date are now invalid - and thus making the Dalamud minion completely unattainable now. I'm not sure if that is indeed the case, but it's highly likely I'm sorry to say.

Makes sense, but Like Enkidoh said, its probably expired in its entirety. (Which also makes the CD a little less valuable in my opinion)

Well they aren't selling the CD anymore in the Square-Enix store so it still retains some value; even if it'll only sell for $20. Some people like to be guaranteed a fresh brand new copy so that's why I'm keeping it in it's plastic wrapper.
