    Monster placement in Eorzia

I have really been wanting to go exploring the rest of the world other than the zones of the 3 major cities. The reason I have not explored much of the world is because when I do go exploring I end up dead. I could understand if I were in some really high level zone in comparison to my character, however that is not the case. I am running past lvl 18-24 monsters and around the next corner is a rather large lizard looking monster and the level is 72. I have to ask, why??? The single greatest thing of FFXI was the division of the zones. Lack of seamless loading of the zones sucked, but the diversity of the world and monsters within was great. FFXIV this isn't so much the case. I've noticed that I could literally grind my way from lvl 1 to 50 in the same zone. Yes they are huge zones but the same old stuff gets old. A level 10 person should not be fighting a monster that looks exactly like a monster a 50 would be fighting. For instance in FFXI the catarpillar or grub type monsters that were outside Windurst can be found in another zone and they are suddenly a great deal higher in level. So I ask the Devs, can you check your monster spawns? Maybe make the locations more of a gradual rise in levels and don't use the same monster skins for everything. Also in the zones of the 3 major cities a person shouldn't be leveling past 30, in my opinion. Even that seems too high for a person to still be in the zone they first started out in given the fact of only 50 levels.

Ninku I used to think this as well but then I hit 20 and then I hit level 30 and realized that this game is all about progression but at the appropriate levels. They don't want you exploring the whole world at level 1 or at least want to make it freaking terrifying if you do. At level 20 you are pretty safe to go wander to the 4th zone and city and by 30 you can trek your way to the 5th zone. At 40 and 50 it gets better and better so my only advise is stick with it at 20 explore more at 30 explore more and by 40 you'll be able to go see the whole world. Keep in mind that level 37 in this game marks the half way point to 50. Don't be in such a rush to see and do everything. More and more quests open up as you level up as well that will have you going further and deeper into the world. If you rush your way to level 30 which you can do very fast you'll be able to get around most places. Then slow down and take your time to 40 and take it all in.

If i'm not mistaken i believe in 1.19 they said they will adjust the placement of the lower level enemies so if thats the case i believe they will adjust the placement of the higher level ones thereafter.
