Can't Kick Offline In Duty

My fellow FC members and I recently tried to help out a friend of ours who was going to take on his required Relic Weapon quests. Our group of 4, went to Amdapor Keep and right after the Demon Wall, our healer DC'd and couldn't get back in after over 20 minutes. He used Skype to ask us to vote him out so we could continue and replace him. But when we tried to do so, we got an error message saying that only randomly selected players for a duty could be kicked out of a group. Given that we wanted to try to help our friend, it was a shame we couldn't finish Amdapor Keep and quit.

So, given the circumstances, if someone in our party is AFK or Offline, regardless of what happened, if someone is willing to let themselves be kicked, please let us do it.

Yeah, you can't kick members when you join an instance as a pre-formed group.

Kind of odd, I honestly don't see the reasoning behind it because getting to the last boss in a dungeon only for your healer or tank to DC or just have to leave completely ruins the run and you have to completely restart the instance if you need to fully complete it.

The reasoning may be because they didn't expect a member of a pre-formed party to get 90k'd (essentially), be willing to be removed from the duty while they are unable to get back into the game, and to complete the dungeon together.

Another Problem you would be dealing with is the fact that after you did boot them. You would be unable to look for new members if the whole party was preformed. So even if you could have kicked them. You out of luck to get a replacement. So it's either wait it out for them to come back or vote abandon and go from there. Need both those fixed to do what you're suggesting.

The reason this probably won't be changed lies with the preformed group being allowed to have whatever job make-up they want. I would bet that SE didn't want random DF users to enter into an instance where the group may be severely hampered by the choice of roles.

Could just leave the duty, and re-que through the duty finder. There are no lock out timers for pre formed parties. Hence the big, Dzemael Dark hold first room run craze.
