    Macro Question

Recently Started playing the game, and I am interested in Macros now, they have been quite helpful. So my Question is:

Is there any possible way to use a Macro to Activate another Macro?

No, people generally feel that treads too close to botting and is specifically not allowed.

To be fair, that pretty much is botting. With enough macros chained together, you could essentially completely automate your character in any given fight aside from movement. You could also easily flood chat by making two /shout macros chain into each other.

Way too easy to abuse that.

Yeah botting by way of macros would be too unfair to the PC players who use 3rd party programs to do it :P

    No, and for good reason.

However there is a suggestion in the UI forums to allow a macro to replace a macro. Which, if you so chose to create, could be used to place a skill chain on a single button amongst other things. Upvote please!

This as already somewhat doable, but limited, with hotbar swaps, and I'd be happy to educate you how, if you express interest.
