Cloud backup/share for character setting, system setting, and macros

While I do think that would be nice, who's to stop someone who managed to get into your account, and screwing up everything you worked hard to place? Plus there are some people who play on both console and computer, but don't use a controller on both

I'm going to ignore the first part of your statement, because there's just so many holes I can poke through. And answer the second and more relevant statement, MAKE THIS AN OPTION UNDER THE LAUNCHER SECTION, like back up and restore which is already there.

The only difference now is make it cloud based so something happens to your com like what happened to a FC mate, your info is backed up, or if you go cross platform. Smartphones/computers are already using it, why can't this game? I mean I can take my Google account, buy a new Android phone, punch in my account login/password and my contacts/purchased apps will be available on the new phone. We've already got SE accounts.

Then can I bother you to elaborate? This is the 'feedback and suggestion forum', which I would assume players would do so without sounding a bit like they're wasting their time when replying to someone else.

We already know that many people in the past have had their accounts 'hacked into' and their characters have been deleted so the RMTs could use them to harass other players, who's to say that others wouldn't be able to do the same there? Or even someone being an arse just to mess with someone they don't like?

Let me put it this way so you are satisfied. There are already games out there doing this, and it's working out very well.

Your very existence on this forum contradicts your statement because you are vulnerable to ID theft, even if you have Token/Token App, what's to stop your mom, siblings, GF/BF/Married partner, or cat, dog, cockroaches from picking up that token, log on to your account, and sabotage your stuff? What you are describing as a concern, is like your city wants to build you a better cross city transportation, and you are saying no to it because it can potentially run someone over.
