    World transfer service

Thinking of transferring servers, read over the Terms of Service and it states that there is a limit to the amount of gil that you can transfer, does anyone know what that limit is? Does the total limit include the gil my retainers are holding?

    According to the Lodestone:

Furthermore, characters can only transfer 1 million gil, while retainers can only transfer 100 thousand gil. Please be aware that excess gil will be lost.

But iff you have more than that, you could always buy allagan pieces or other stuff to sell after you transfer. Good luck!

When I transferred I was only aloud to bring a million gill with me. What I did was spend the rest of my gill on items from market board that I thought would sell when I transferred over.

Make an alt on the server you wish to tranfer to. Check the MB for stuff that sells well, buy that on original server, transfer, sell on new server. You might even make some profit this way, but even in the worst case, you minimize your losses.
