Am I the only one who finds it a bit counterproductive to have the three main sets of gear: Raid, Craft, and Purchase, but make it so that you still have to raid to get components and currency needed to obtain Craft and Purchase gear?

I know it's easier than raiding for the mega gear, and it's really not that hard, but some people just don't like to raid (albeit because hardcore raid spammers can be serious jerks).

If you going to require raiding to bring out the full potential of purchased or crafted weapons, that's perfectly fine, but as the minimum level requirements for instances goes up, the availability of essential high end gear should be equally accessible to all play styles ranging from absolutely casual to mega-jerk hardcore. I suggest the Purchase gear should require nothing from raids. Make the tomes you need to buy Purchase gear a rare drop in Duty Roulettes, and remove them from the RNG in the raids. I think that works out in everyone's favor.
