[Suggestion] Linkable items in the chat window

We know that the ability to link items, as well as quests and maps, into the chat window is an extremely convenient feature, and while it would be very difficult to implement, we will do our best to research just how feasible it will be to introduce.

Why is it so difficult? Every MMO since FFXI that I know of or played first-hand has managed to implement this feature either at launch or shortly afterwards.

Honestly its the same functionality that these Forums just recently implemented with the [ item] [/item ] tags; other games use XML for their IRC/chat client and use Xlinks to dynamically link items and tool tips. If SE doesn't use this system currently, they should look into implementing it. Tear it down and start over, just get it done before all of these non-essential fixes or fluff like seasonal events.

Servers issue/ Coding issue it took them about 5years to make Crystal tools then they start making ffxiv. By then crystal tools was outdated when they start working on ffxiv. Reason why FFXIV is how it is now and hard to add anything due to how bad the crystal tool was done. DX9,Lag,issue adding mail system and many other thing are the reason we can't have party search and many other stuff.

Crystal tool was done so bad it was hard to make this game they only start about i would say 1year before E3 of 2009 seeing how the game was only 50% done by gamescom which tell you the game was not getting work on that much due to the delay of Crystal tools. They start making up ideas and such for ffxiv around COP tho.
