

The change that was made to LotA, was so that loot wouldn't automatically be given if everyone except you left. You would still get it if you waited five minutes. This has been explained a few times before in this thread.I have, because I've been that person many times (and never intentionally, despite what many of you seem to think)
In standard dungeons you will end up with the item despite not rolling for it. If multiple people don't roll/pass, it'll randomly go to one of them as if they both greeded (except you won't see them roll any numbers)
However LotA (back when it still had its item lockout) was eventually adjusted such that you needed to roll on an item to possibly be able to get it, due to all the people complaining about this very issue, which indicates to me that I'm far from being the only one that had encountered this problem.
