Letter from the Players I - Raltz Waltz

Dear Yoshi-P,

Greetings! My name is Raltz Waltz, 1.0 player and legacy member from the Balmung server. Thought about writing a little something here it is! The very first "Letter from the Players". I just wanted to say my appreciation for everything that you've done with FFXIV in making what it is today, FFXIV: ARR. The world would never could have been what it is now without you. I, as I'm sure the rest of the FFXIV player base when I say that, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you very much (どうもありがとうございました)! As 1.0 player there were many things that I miss and reminisce about, such as, the Chocobo Caravans, Hamlet Defense, a few of the graphics and visuals, and especially most of the music that we use to have like the various battle music that played depending on which zone you were in.

Though aside from the nostalgia of it all, there were a lot of good things that came with this renewal. Such things as: better tank enmity control, revamp of character actions, spells and skills (though I will admit, I did miss being able to cast a spell while running ), maps that weren't copy>rotate>paste, and most of all... a better user interface. With 2.5 steadily approaching and 3.0 just beyond the horizon, I'm looking forward to seeing what new adventures the first FFXIV:ARR expansion will bring. May the future of Eorzea and the adventures throughout the world of Hydaelyn be greater and even more awesome than its rebirth. May Yoshi-P continue to guide us forward in the light of the crystal.
