"Lucis" tool? Oh oh...
Lux, Luce, Lucem, Lucis... all Latin for "Light".
We're gonna have to equip the tool and then go farm Light as DoH now, aren't we? Heh heh he...

My predictions:
1. Lucis tool will be the upgrade for Supra relic tools, rather than a separate tool like the Artisan ones. As Wadoka pointed out, "Lucis" is a Latin word. "Supra" is also a Latin word. Given the similarity and how they have done naming for the relic weapons, it makes more sense to me for Lucis to be part of the relic tool progression, rather than a separate thing like Artisan.
2. Artisan body piece will be unveiled, and will be craftable with 3 Ehcatl Sealants and 1 Mastercraft Demimateria. I predict they will mirror what the Forager set is already doing with the body piece, since everything else between the two sets is comparable.
3. The "additional rewards" being added to some of the Ixal quests will be more Oaknots. Rather than revamping the pricing structure (which would punish people for not banking their Oaknots in anticipation of the patch), they will simply give more Oaknots going forward for the quests.

have you forgotten the luminary already ? Their name already has the meaning of "Lucis"1. Lucis tool will be the upgrade for Supra relic tools, rather than a separate tool like the Artisan ones. ST is ilvl100 gear, you can buy stuff the same level with soldiery tomes (which will have a big boost this patch)
I expect them to raise the desynth cap by 10 each major patch going forward, as well as top level of gear we can desynth. That keeps the top level dungeon desynth gear at 70% max.

That's what it is, you need the luminary tool to upgrade to the new tools.

so.....
no Artisan body? >_>
we are still stuck with a nice AF body and really awful artisan gear? ;_____;
Did you see my badge? I'm a professional!

The patch notes are preliminary, they will release the full notes in 10 hours or so. I expect to see an artisan body (or JSE body pieces from the turn in tokens for lucis tools) along with 110 accessories, even though neither was mentioned.
Just guessing, but "master crafting tomes" does not look as an involuntary mistake instead of master crafting books. Might it be there will be some tomes like the tomestones? But it says tomes and not tomestones, who knows?
About the body piece, it might be new body gear for each job will come instead of one for all. I don't think likely the best gear will be an all-class full set. Second best, maybe.
I think probably the ehcatl sealants will be easier to obtain, they are very expensive. But it does not say more oaknots will be given, just that additional rewards will be given. More oaknots would be a way to make them cheaper. Giving an ehcatl for an Ixal quest would be maybe too much. A new token? We'll soon see.
I hope the Lucis weapons won't be a huge grind but think they will probably be.
They said the requirements for 4 star books would not be made easier, but that new recipes would be of neither top nor intermediate level.
The changes about desynth look very nice, you can have 3 desynth classes maxed with no problem, and won't lose desynth if you are not yet capped.
