    PvE item level sync. We gw2 now?

    What does this mean exactly? Does it mean my blm that can bitch slap titan is going to struggle fighting a sheep?

    The item level sync system has been reinstated in PvE encounters

    no its for dungeons like wp you will sync to ilvl110 if you're higher.

    Kinda wish this were like GW2 and we wouldn't loose all our skills when downscaled. Of course they have a fraction of the skills we do.

    Item synch just normalizes your stats to the i110 range, nothing more. Keeps people i120 and above from facerolling dungeons. Though I wish I finished my Zodiac weapon quest before they brought this back.

    ya, cause ilv110 ppl aren't facerolling ilv 55 WP, already?
    if they wanted to maintain a difficulty, they should have synced it at 60 instead.

    Open world level syncing wouldn't work for this game anyway. So many zones are split between standard questing level with this big level 50 area nestled in a corner. And then there are hunts to consider.
    So yep, dungeons only.
