What complaint are you referring to? As I didn't complain about anything, I'm not sure what you mean.
I didn't say anything about weaver needing leatherworker either. Perhaps you got something someone else said mixed up with me.
I don't find that frustrating it all though. I loved needing sub-classes and I think it's too bad that SE is removing those. I think they make things more realistic. Like if you need to make a wooden part, you'd need carpenter leveled a bit. Or need to find a carpenter friend.
I hope they keep it for higher levels or something at least.
That list I posted was only a complete list of different types of items (by that I mean, items with a different name - if there was any confusion) within the recipe. It wasn't only the items you start with because it included secondary items and then what they turn into and so on. I don't think it looks difficult, it just looks like more running around for me personally, since I prefer to collect my own items. So I'd be running all over the place collecting ingredients for dyes, and cotton and turning that into yarn, and all that. Changing classes, and changing crafting facilities, collecting shards/crystals, not to mention dying each part that needs it. I put more work on myself because I enjoy doing things from scratch. I don't expect anyone else would put themselves through as much work when they could just buy parts here and there and not have to bother gathering basic materials such as cotton bolls or something.
But as for the most disputed topic lately - item parts being done away with..
I loved the thought of them. I thought they made it seem more realistic, but I think SE decided it became far more tedious than they had intended it to. And I think that's why they're choosing to be rid of it.
I understand why many people are upset about this, but for me, I think it will make things easier. In the end I don't care how things turn out. So if people want to fight for the current system, they should get to one of the complaint threads and voice a concern.
Then again, there is a part of me that wants to say, "Try the new system before judging it." Then if you hate it, complain. XD
I can't wait to see what they do with the crafting system in 1.19.
