I'm kinda disappointed that the current Expert roulette gets put down to High Level and the new dungeons aren't just added to the roulette.
I am also hoping that the soldiery "adjustments" to dungeons is an increase not a decrease >.<; It may give me more incentive to do my relic... though... It's still a pretty daunting task since I am still at Anima and I have a Diamond Cane for my whm now >.>;
Sadly, BRD still have healing LB.
I am SINCERELY hoping that the "sales clerk" retainers will be available for personal housing as well as FC housing. It will make neighborhoods a bit livelier.
I do NOT want to have to tell my FC that only 2 of them (medium size house) can sell stuff in the yard. ; ; It was a logistical nightmare when bird dyeing was a thing and we had all of 16 garden spots for over 150 people and I don't want to go through something like that again. ><
I must have missed that. That's frustrating for the people still working to unlock HM roulette. Keeps moving the goal post further away. Would rather they get added to Expert Roulette instead.I'm kinda disappointed that the current Expert roulette gets put down to High Level and the new dungeons aren't just added to the roulette.

- Upon completing the quest "Just Tooling Around," players can inquire about master crafting tomes and tools by speaking with Guiding Star in Mor Dhona at Revenant’s Toll (X:22 Y:6).
Are we getting the tomestones for crafters in 2.5, or am I mis-interpreting this?
Edit: After re-reading, I realize I'm a derp and this probably just refers to the master crafter books from Talan.![]()

Well, I sure regret ever getting excited for this... Didn't they describe it as the first step in Free Company crafting? I hope Airship crafting doesn't follow suit, because this sounds like you just leave it to do its thing, rather than actually crafting...Aetherial wheels have been added, which can convert stored energy into company actions.
Free companies can now charge aetherial wheels on estate grounds. These wheels acumulate aether over time, which can be used to acquire company actions without the use of company credits.
In order to charge aetherial wheels, free companies must first obtain an aetherial wheel stand, which can be purchased from housing merchants in any residential district.
The aetherial wheels themselves can be crafted using alchemy.
This, on the other hand, has me extremely excited. Sounds like they've botched it though, but I have hope. Really need to remove the tax when selling from a Estate and move the tax to the buyer. That encourages people to visit your Estate to purchase items, rather than just using the Market Board. For example, if something is selling for 10,000G, the seller currently gets a 5% tax meaning they only earn 9,500G from that sale. If a sale from an Estate loses that tax and puts it on the buyer, I can put something up for 9,500G (the same amount I'd make currently selling it for 10,000G) but the buyer tax brings it to 10,000G on the Market Board (well, a bit less but you get the idea). Anyone buying off the Market Board still pays 10,000G for it, and I still get 9,500G, but anyone visiting my Estate to purchase the item pays 9,500G and I still make 9,500G. Perfect. Without something like this, it just seems pointless outside roleplaying. More so when there are Market Boards spread out across the Wards...Retainers can now be placed on estate grounds outside the hall.
An expansion of duties permit is required to place a retainer on your estate grounds outside the hall. These permits can be purchased from independent sutlers in any residential district.
One, two, or three retainers can be placed on small, medium, and large estates respectively.
Once a retainer is placed on estate grounds, items that they currently have listed for sale on the market can be purchased by anyone who speaks with them. The retainer's sales history (up to 20 entries) can also be viewed by other players.
Placing retainers on estate grounds does not impact your ability to summon them via summoning bells to deposit and withdraw items, or to assign retainer ventures.
The potential for shop based furniture is great too... Mannequins please; I want to display armor I'm selling.

Ya getting tired of expert being only 3 dungeons. I could of sworn they said they were looking into easing this at some point. There's really no reason for experts to be moved to high level when we haven't had a ilvl increase yet. That's usually when they move dungeons down I thought anyways. Doesn't this make it really hard for lower level's to unlock high level? The 3 current experts were designed for ilvl110+ people right? (I know the average requirement is likely lower) I remember going into these experts when they first came out, and thinking jesus these hit a lot harder then any other dungeon so far.I'm kinda disappointed that the current Expert roulette gets put down to High Level and the new dungeons aren't just added to the roulette.

High level people don't have access to that gear. It seems to me they also need a new category for dungeons. Medium Roulette for all of the pre2.3 dungeons, or something.
Also don't worry about the soldiery adjustments. This is going to be the catchup patch. It's going to be a increase. idk how long you been playing but think back to when philo and myth had a spike in how much we could gain. Like myth was maybe 100 for main story at one point, then they bumped it up to like 300 or something crazy with roulette bonus. It may not be that much of a increase sense they have introduced new player bonus's sense then. But it will be a increase nonetheless.
One last thought, sometimes it seems they include zodiac related quests in prelim notes, sometimes they don't. Usually when they don't include something in prelim it has a market impact. So I'm now officially scared out of my mind, what we will have to buy for the next step sigh. If it's materia again, they BETTER do SOMETHING about materia. OFC if they were doing something about it this patch we wouldn't see it in the prelim notes.
