Thread: The One Emote That I Want

I am very happy with the selection of emotes that are available in the game. But there is one emote that I wish I could use. For me, it would be a way to express gratitude with an emote and not be limited to /hug and /bow, even though I really like those emotes and use them a lot.

But the one emote I would like to be able to share with someone is the ability to "/ShakeHand". That would be a great emote to use and a way to further express gratitude to someone who has helped me with a duty, a Fate or getting some good advice.

Goodluck with that, Se has alrdy ruined emotes like hug, slap, comfort and so on by not adding some kind of response from the other character.

What they need is to change the emote system so that certain emotes can be synced so two players can actually hug eachother instead of one doing some kind of messed up clipping with the arms thru another player.

If you are not targetting someone at the time .

i wouldn't mind it if they were animation syncs like in TF2, but they aren't and that makes them weird.

so no, unless they become synced animations.

With animation sync you would still be able to use emotes freely.

But it will also allow syncing emotes aswell.

My suggestion would be that if you select another person and use a syncable emote a message will appear saying "player wants to brofist with you" and your character goes into a ready stance until you cancel it. Then when the other player targets you and uses the same emote then you will begin the synced emoting.
