Definitely. Just look at how similar it is to the other mounts:

Why is the World of Darkness using the same loot lock system as previous CT and ST raids? Didn't Yoshi-p say at one of the fan fests they were looking at a different system for handling drops?
Ok so it seems the Poetics upgrade item will be seperate lootable drop. I hope its got some kind of a lockout though. The unlimited lockout doesn't seem to be working as intended in ST. Has anyone tried to get sands/oils sense they unlocked it? If your lucky you'll get one after maybe 5 runs. If your not lucky you'll wait 40 runs. It takes less time to teach people second coil, and farm that. Before the lockout it was easy to acquire. Maybe like 2-3 item lockout on it per week?Q3: Will the rewards for the new chapter of Crystal Tower include the materials needed to enhance Ironworks equipment?
A3: We’ll introduce the upgrade items as loot, but they will be separate from the weekly reward since players were having trouble deciding which piece of loot that they wanted last time.
While it may not seem very flashy at first, this patch looks to have SO much good stuff in it! Lots of Quality-Of-Life improvements especially. Highlights:
They're preventing any accidental duplicate buying by players who might've bought a Book already and forgot they did. Nice!-
"Attempting to purchase items consumed upon use that you already possess, such as chocobo barding or master recipe books, now will cause an message prompt to display.
* For untradable items, a message prompt will indicate the item cannot be purchased.
* For tradable items, a message prompt will appear, confirming if you wish to purchase the item."
Looks like we can now TRY ON any item/gear that your friends / FC / LS link in the Chat Window! That's so convenient!
"When appearing in the log window, all items will now contain an item link.
The item subcommand menu (Search for Item / Item Link / Try On / Item Comparison) can now be used with the following:
* Item links in the chat log
* Achievement reward icons
* Supply and provisioning items in the Timers window"
They finally FIXED the awful (unbalanced) Ixali Crafting Quest, "A High Wind in Ishgard"! While I had no problems finishing it, it was DEFINITELY way more difficult than it needed to be for a *Level 16* Crafting Leve (supposedly). Glad it helps people who had trouble with it (and didn't have all Crafting Classes maxed):
"The difficulty of crafting isolator components and auxiliary aerodynamo components in daily beast tribe quests has been reduced." (FYI: Isolator Components are the items needed for "A High Wind in Ishgard" Levequest.)
I wonder what the New Allagan Catalyst Item is for? At least it's bringing people back to Crystal Tower 1 and Syrcus Tower (to help newbies out):
"・Players can now obtain an Allagan catalyst from the Labyrinth of the Ancients and Syrcus Tower.
* Labyrinth of the Ancients
The treasure coffer that appears upon defeating Amon."
So glad they're adding in New Crafting Recipes withOUT needing a New Crafting Book!
"New recipes have been added to master recipe books.
Players can acquire master recipe books from the NPC Talan in Mor Dhona at Revenant's Toll (X:22 Y:6) after completing the quest "Just Tooling Around."
* In the event you have already acquired a master recipe book, your crafting log will be updated with the new recipes automatically."
Yay for the REMOVAL of Desynthesis Level / Points Loss, unless you're at Max. And a Desynth Level Cap Increase.![]()
"The level cap for desynthesis has been increased.
* The level cap for each class has been increased from 100 to 110.110
* The cumulative skill point maximum has been increased from 300 to 350.350
Skill levels will no longer decrease if your combined skill level is not at the maximum."
Of course, the World of Darkness, 3 New Dungeons, Gilgamesh, Odin Battles... hopefully they're fun!
Can't wait!

I'd much rather be allowed to grind WoD for the poetic upgrades until i get what I want rather than only be allowed the "chance" to loot 2 a week in coil. For people that PUG, the odds of looting those items suck compared to having arrangements with a static.Why is the World of Darkness using the same loot lock system as previous CT and ST raids? This makes no sense to me... What they need to do is retroactively go back and add additional rewards to all the other beast tribe quests... I do not need more reasons to do the same dozen Ixali Dailies, quite frankly I'm sick of the damn things... I wish I could do any of the other quests, but since they gave us Ixali Oaknots that just isn't happening...Additional rewards have been added to the following Ixal daily quests:
West for Fishing / Your Gil's No Good Here / Mining for Compliments / A High Wind in Ishgard / Bring Your Own Ectoplasm / In Case of Emergency / We Fly High (Squawkin') / Deliverance
How about making the reward for reaching Allied with all the tribes be that every quest gives you Oaknots? That would be great. You do all the quests, and your reward is getting to do any of them (so basically, your favorite ones) without forgoing the massive reward that is Ixali Oaknots... I really feel sorry for players who didn't do Dailies as they got added, because they either miss out on a load of Oaknots, or miss out on half the quests because Ixali Dailies are the best ones you can do...
Soooo....What's up with that one side quest where you need all the horses?
This is actually a fair point. Increasing the reward for the Ixali dailies that were easily the most lucrative already seems odd... Giving us more reasons to go back and do dailies for the other tribes would be nice.This makes no sense to me... It's to get the new Kirin mount. Quite why they need to reward those people for already having insane RNG luck in just getting the damn things in the first place is beyond me.
Guys I have a question regarding retainers outside the FC house. It sounds like, to me, that the items listed for sale on the retainer will remain on the MB too. Does anyone think it'll work like this too? I ask this because my FC likes to sell items to our FC members at a discount. This system would be virtually useless to us if it's still tied to the MB and we'd have to continue to sell things manually. :/ Why couldn't SE have given us an FC Retainer where officers are allowed to list items on it for sale to ONLY FC members?
