Measurements for DPS contributions (Please SE...)

Yeah there really needs to be some sort of a system in place for DPS to see how they are fairing. Personally, I'm all for a parse that shows you your own numbers. Don't show anyone else's then fine. I'm not afraid of being 'harassed' if I'm sucking but making it only show your numbers I think is fair. Currently in this game you can tell when a tank isn't performing up to snuff and likewise for healers. Just watch my stream when our OT simply cannot pick up adds and hold hate over our WHM or even EOS. If a DPS is slacking we have no way of knowing until we hit enrage at the end and even then we don't know who was underperforming.

We hit enrage? Oh well then someone isn't performing sure. But who? No way to really know without a parse. I'm the type of player who wants to be the absolute best at my job. I'm never not trying to improve. I was a great BLM in BCOB but if I went back and watched my gameplay from them (and I have) I laugh at how different and 'bad' I played. I'm constantly trying to maximize my DPS and if we don't make a DPS check there isn't much I can do about it. I'm already at my max. How are we supposed to get past a wall if we don't know what the problem is?
