Hunts becoming popular again?

The Hunt has been adjusted as follows:
The number of allied seals granted upon defeating elite marks has been increased.
A Rank
Increased from 20 to 40.
S Rank
Increased from 50 to 100.

The number of allied seals granted by regular mark bills has been increased from 4 to 8 and from 10 to 20.

The number of allied seals granted by elite mark bills has been increased from 50 to 100.

Elite marks will now drop unstained mark logs instead of blood-spattered mark logs.


After poetics were introduced hunts died out fast because A ranks didn't give out poetics which turned people away. As of late though they've been picking up again, do you think this will revive them?

I saw that as well! A friend and I were talking about it and if the new logs dropped by hunts would be used to obtain such items, if so than YES PLEASE! All the hunts.

Yes, it'll revive them. Can't wait to hear the cries of those who came 10 minutes late, complain about early pullers. That is honestly entertaining. Also can't wait to, err, accidentally cast flare minutes before pull time.

Oh I know right? Almost ever hunt has "that guy" who didn't make it and blames everyone for his own incompetency. After all, it's always "Everyone pulled early!" and never ever "I was slow and late". The 100 people who were ready are selfish for not waiting for 1 person, but 1 person demanding that 100 people wait for him is not selfish at all.

Could be worse. I once waited 20 minutes to get people for an A-rank, and as soon as it died people started yelling how we should've been helping them in East Shroud instead of pulling the one in Southern Thanalan.

Hunts are just ridiculous.

1 Carboncoat: 4 Unstained Mark Log

So...it would take 75 A ranks to get one Carbontwine, or 30 S ranks.

Yeah, I don't think Hunts are going to pick back up like people think they are.

Of course, there's still the chance of logs dropping directly from NMs but as we know, RNG gonna RNG.

The random drop factor was always the reason why people got like 4 sands a day way back, and in any case how is a bigger grind going to turn people away? If there is more grind you grind more.
