My Chocobo coloring

Hi everyone, I would like to request some help on Chocobo coloring. I would like to get my Chocobo to a deep red color (Dalamud red). The fruit is so expensive on the MB and I don't want to waste gil by buying the wrong fruits. And feeding, do I feed one at a time or all at once? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

My boyfriend and I both used this site. Mine went perfectly from Rose Pink to Snow White, but he had a little bit of trouble going from one of the dark blues to black (we think he may have messed up a fruit somewhere). Just make sure you follow the instructions, and you should have a fine time.
We alternated the fruits we fed them like the instructions state. I think it was 3 of each at a time, but all of the fruits in one feeding. The reason for this is that if you feed them 21 apples at once, you might hit a wall halfway through and the rest won't do anything until you use another color on the chocobo.

You can also grow your own fruits if you have access to an FC garden and enough seals.

16 × Pears, 21 × Apples, 25 × Berries

I have an FC, I just don't have any allied seals and am only level 33. By my understanding I need to be level 50 to get allied seals from hunts. Right? But I am talking with my FC and will see if some one will grow them for me.
